1. Introduction

By accessing or using the Waikato Marketing website (waikatomarketing.co.nz) or engaging our marketing services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please refrain from using our site or services.

2. Services Provided

Waikato Marketing provides digital marketing services including search engine optimisation (SEO), Google Ads campaign management, Meta Ads management, web design and development, and analytics reporting. Specific deliverables, scope, and billing structures for client projects are specified in individual service agreements.

3. No Lock-in Contracts & Termination

Unless explicitly agreed otherwise in writing, our monthly retainer services (SEO, Google Ads, Meta Ads management) operate on a month-to-month basis with no long-term lock-in contract. Either party may cancel retainer services by providing 30 days written notice prior to the start of the next billing cycle.

4. Client Responsibilities & Asset Ownership

To ensure successful campaign performance, clients agree to:

Provide timely access to necessary accounts (Google Ads, Meta Business Manager, GA4, website CMS)
Pay ad spending budgets directly to advertising platforms (Google, Meta)
Retain full ownership of their domain names, ad accounts, and analytics properties at all times

5. Intellectual Property

All custom website builds, graphic assets, and copywriting created specifically for a client become the intellectual property of the client upon full payment of agreed fees. Waikato Marketing retains ownership of proprietary agency templates, workflows, and pre-existing code frameworks.

6. Warranties and Disclaimers

While we implement industry-leading strategies to optimize rankings, traffic, and conversions, third-party algorithms (such as Google and Meta) are beyond our direct control. Waikato Marketing does not guarantee specific organic ranking positions or exact lead quantities, as search engine algorithms and market dynamics fluctuate continuously.

7. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New Zealand. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New Zealand.
